, : Investigations into the water-yield relationship in maize. Internationale Agrarindustrie Zeitschrift ( 3): 221-223

Equations are presented relating relative and absolute yields of maize to evapotranspiration (ET) and ET to environmental factors and for the derivation of constants appearing in the equations. Relative yields were linearly related to relative ET irrespective of weather conditions, but relative amounts of irrigation and relative yields and yield increases varied in individual years as the result of differences in weather.
