Is long, costly, air-polluting road tanker haulage of milk avoidable by using partly recombined liquid milk?

North European Food and Dairy Journal 55(8-9-10): 168-169

Is long, costly, air-polluting road tanker haulage of milk avoidable by using partly recombined liquid milk?

The high cost of milk transport from farm to factory by road tanker in countries with long haulage routes, such as Norway and Finland, is discussed. Ways of reducing costs are outlined.
