Long-term dynamics of cedar pine reproductive activity and radial growth in pine forest adjoining village in southern taiga subzone

Long-term dynamics of cedar pine reproductive activity and radial growth in pine forest adjoining village in southern taiga subzone

Soviet Journal of Ecology 1988; 18(6): 282-287

Data on numbers of scars left by ripe and undeveloped cones and of lateral vegetative shoots (corresponding to initials that did not develop sexually) were determined for 1925-84 from 6 Pinus sibirica trees on a test plot near Zorkal'tsevo, Tomsk District, at some distance from the southern range boundary of the species. Increment cores were collected from 23 trees to determine radial growth during the same period.
