An electronic data acquisition system was developed to measure and record soil-tyre interface pressure data during skidding operations. The computer based data system consists of a lap top portable microcomputer, an analogue to digital converter system, a pressure-transducer-Wheatstone Bridge system and a 2 amp/h NiCad battery.
