Fagopyrum 9: 10-14



Seeds of F. esculentum and F. tataricum were treated with gamma radiation (0 - 40 kR). Doses of up to 15 kR increased germination percentage, emergence percentage and the speed of emergence in the M1 and M2. Doses above 15 kR decreased percentage germination and emergence and slowed the rate of emergence. Percentage of plants surviving 30 days after sowing decreased with increasing dose.
