Anzeiger fur Schadlingskunde, Pflanzenschutz, Umweltschutz 61(2): 33-35



Wood specimens of Casuarina glauca were inoculated with Chaetomium spp. and Trichoderma spp., alone or in combination with larvae of Stromatium fulvum (a cerambycid that was found in association with various fungi on C. glauca in Egypt). All fungal inoculates caused deterioration of the lignin; infestation with larvae had the same effects.
