NPK balance and coefficients of NP recovery in fertilization of maize grown on a leached cinnamonic soil

NPK balance and coefficients of NP recovery in fertilization of maize grown on a leached cinnamonic soil

Pochvoznanie, Agrokhimiya i Rastitelna Zashchita 21(2): 43-49

A three year fertilizer experiment was carried out with the maize hybrid H-708 grown on an irrigated leached cinnamonic soil of southern Bulgaria. The NPK balance was studied at five levels of N and P application. It was found that with a yield of 10 t/ha grain NPK removal was counterbalanced by the application of 210 kg N/ha and 110 to 160 kg P/ha.
