In the winter of 1983-84, trees of 19 Japanese and 4 Chinese nashi cultivars grafted onto Pyrus serotina or P. calleryana were planted at 2 sites (Bergerac and Angers). Data are presented on the yields for the years 1985-1987 at Angers, the cumulative yields for the 3 years at Angers, flowering dates at Angers and Bergerac, harvesting dates, and flower initiation and development for the 1987/88 season at Angers.
