Abstract
The nematicidal and antimicrobial activity of the volatile sulfur constituents from A. grayi and A. fistulosum var. caespitosum and related sulfur compounds were measured. The thiosulfinate compounds (at 50 micro g/disc) showed stronger nematicidal activity than disulfides and thiosulfonates with the same alkyl groups and also oxamyl (at 0.5 micro g/disc).
