New and little known species of Simuliidae (Diptera) from the Khabarovsk Territory

The female of Metacnephia ramificata and 2 new species of Simuliids found in the Khabarovsk Territory, USSR, are described and figured. Hemicnetha ussovae sp. nov. differs from H. gigantea and H. tsharae in various characters, including width of frons (N.B. Hemicnetha is treated as a subgenus of Simulium by some authorities). Gnus tumninum sp. nov. unites characteristics of species of the G. malyschevi and G. pavlovskii groups (N.B.
