, : New assessment of the quality of dressing of cereal seed by means of single seed analysis. Gesunde Pflanzen 41(1): 18-24

A technique is described in which individual dressed seeds are extracted in an alcohol/water mixture and the fluorescence of the extraction medium measured and compared with a standard. Results from 100 single seeds/seed lot were used to determine the pattern of distribution of the seed dressing.
