New math at FDA

New math at FDA

Snack World 45(4): 33-35

A new FDA mathematical procedure for evaluating nutritional composition of foods is described. Examples are presented showing how declared Na content of potato chips (crisps) may decrease and that of niacin increase as more analyses are performed.
