In a trial in the kharif season of 1984, the performance of pigeonpeas as an intercrop in sorghum was studied. Pigeonpeas sown on 22 June and 24 July under 2 systems of seedbed preparation gave av. seed yields of 0.86 and 0.59 t/ha and had a 100-seed wt of 17.0 and 14.6 g, resp.
