Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase and ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase gene expression in response to elevated temperatures in C3 and C4 plants native to hot and temperature climates

Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase and ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase gene expression in response to elevated temperatures in C3 and C4 plants native to hot and temperature climates

Dissertation Abstracts International B, Sciences and Engineering 50(6): 2238B

The effects of high temp. on the expression of phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC) and ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase (Rubisco) genes were examined at the protein and mRNA levels in reponse to elevated temp. in leaves of 2-week-old light-grown seedlings of sorghum, maize, groundnuts and soyabeans.
