Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 60(6): 679-682
Physico-morphological characteristics of semen of crossbred bulls having varying levels of exotic and indigenous inheritance
Semen samples of crossbred Sahiwal bulls having varying percentages of Holstein, Danish Red and Jersey inheritance were compared. Bulls with Holstein, Danish Red and Sahiwal inheritance had the highest semen volume and sperm motility, and those with Danish Red, Jersey and Sahiwal blood had semen with the highest percentage of sperm abnormalities.
