On the basis of tests during 1981-86 under severe epiphytotic conditions, the following varieties resistant to P. infestans were selected: Atzimba, Ceres, Elke, Gitte, Greta, Ewerest, Fanal, Dunja, Lisa, Topi, Astra, Ando, Letnii 92, Polonina, Ramenskii, Sarme, Tat'yanka, Rosita CIP, CFP69-1 CIP, CEX69-1 CIP, B71240-2 CIP and India 1039.
