The average quantity of nectar from 10 flowers of sweet and sour cherries during 24 hours ranged from 4.2 to 21.4 mg, the average quantity of sugars from 0.9 to 3.1 mg, average sugar content of the nectar from 16.5 to 25.3%. Highest secretion of sugars was by Morella sour cherries (from 2.4 to 3.1 mg).
