The adsorption equilibrium moisture properties for soyabeans were measured using a closed-loop dew point method. Measurements cover temp. of 10, 25 and 40 degrees C and m.c. of 13.6-25.0%, d.b. The Modified Halsey equation provided the best fit to the experimental data. Little or no hysteresis existed between the adsorption equilibrium m.c. data from this study and the desorption data of Sulaiman (1986).
