Data are given from the 1984 remeasurement of a 1938 IUFRO provenance trial of P. silvestris at Lubien and compared with data from other locations involved. Relations between vol. m.a.i., stem straightness, self pruning, branchiness and branch angle are analysed. There were strong correlations between straightness, self pruning and branchiness, but branch angle showed no correlation with tree productivity nor quality; vol. m.a.i. was correlated only with self pruning.
