Of the 248 tomato lines tested against M. incognita only 15 were rated resistant (no infection), 6 were moderately resistant (1-10% of roots infected), 5 were moderately susceptible (11-25% of roots infected) and the rest were susceptible (26-50% of roots infected), including cultivars Anahu, Manalucie, N.T.R.-1 and Ponderosa which were previously recorded as resistant. A brief description of the lines observed to be resistant and their sources are given.
