Resistance to seedling rot of tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum M.) caused by Phytophthora nicotianae var. parasitica Waterhouse

Of 13 cultivars grown either in nutrient solution or in pots with sterilized soil and evaluated for resistance to P. nicotianae, Placero showed the least infection (30%) 7 days after inoculation.
