Response of direct seeded late maturing rice varieties to different fertilizer combinations at puddled condition

In trials in 1985-87 with 3 direct-sown late-maturing rice cultivars given no fertilizer or 30-60 kg N, 15-30 kg P and 20 kg K/ha in different combinations, CR 1018, CR 1009 and CR 1030 gave av. paddy yields of 2.73, 2.50 and 2.23 t/ha, resp. Cultivar CR 1018 was also superior to other cultivars in most growth and yield components.
