In a field trial at Rewa during the 1984 kharif season, soyabeans JS-72-44 were given 0-60 kg N/ha and 0-50 kg P2O5/ha with and without Rhizobium inoculation. 30 kg N + 50 kg P2O5 + inoculation gave the highest seed yields of 3.99 t/ha.
