During 1984, 83.41% of common mynahs (A. tristis) captured in Jaunpur, India, were found to be infested with 1-4 species of Mallophaga, including Brueelia chayanh, Menacanthus eurysternus, Sturnidoecus affinis and Myrsidea sp.
