Seasonal occurrence and chemical control of the citrus red mite (Panonychus citri (McGregor)) on carambola

The tetranychid Panonychus citri is a pest of carambola in southern Taiwan and occurs throughout the year, especially during the dry seasons (October-January) and (April-May). Five natural enemies of the mite were recorded on A. carambola, of which the coccinellid Stethorus loi was the most abundant.
