Seasonal variation in nutrient levels in foliage of Pinus patula under different levels of fertility

Growth and foliar nutrient (N, P, K, Ca and Mg) contents were measured in second-rotation P. patula on different sites, and differently fertilized with NPK, in Swaziland, in 1982-84. Several foliar nutrients exhibited marked seasonal changes in amount.
