Allergen prepared from Salmonella abortusovis by the method of V. F. Runova & Z. M. Andreeva (1968) was tested on 2717 sheep on 4 farms affected by salmonella abortion, with 5 positive results. Another trial on 3400 sheep on 8 farms gave 250 positive results (7.4%).
