Serological profiling in broilers by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis and infectious bursal disease. Correlation with respiratory symptoms and flock performances

Serological profiling in broilers by the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Newcastle disease, infectious bronchitis and infectious bursal disease. Correlation with respiratory symptoms and flock performances

Clinica Veterinaria 111(1-2): 109-120

In a study involving 13 flocks, 1-day-old chicks were vaccinated by large-drop aerosol with B1 NDV + H120 of infectious bronchitis (IB) virus. In some groups this was repeated, but with micronized spray, at 18-20 days of age. Also, strain D78 of infectious bursal disease virus was given in the drinking water at 10 days of age. The development of antibodies to the three agents was followed by ELISA, at 14, 28, 42 and 60 days, and the results are illustrated graphically.
