Single leaf photosynthesis of rice plants under field conditions. IV. Variations in single-leaf photosynthesis among several days and the interactive effects of irradiance and stomatal conductance on CER

Single leaf photosynthesis of rice plants under field conditions. IV. Variations in single-leaf photosynthesis among several days and the interactive effects of irradiance and stomatal conductance on CER

Japanese Journal of Crop Science 58(4): 623-627

Variations in single leaf photosynthesis in field-grown rice plants were determined for several successive days. Under saturation light intensity, photosynthesis varied from day to day by 5-10 mg CO2/dmsuperscript 2 h. Variations were positively correlated with variations in stomatal conductance which, in turn, were negatively correlated with evaporation rate.
