In trials in SE Asia, Sofit 300 EC (pretilachlor + safener), was tolerated by local rice cultivars at 0.4-0.6 kg a.i./ha. Slight stunting of 3-13% of wet-sown rice was observed at 10-21 days after sowing (DAS) but this effect was no longer apparent at 40-49 DAS.
