Studies on seed dormancy in Brassica L. I. Dormancy and germination of newly-harvested seeds with different maturities in three Brassica species

Studies on seed dormancy in Brassica L. I. Dormancy and germination of newly-harvested seeds with different maturities in three Brassica species

Oil Crops of China (4): 1-5

Siliquae of volunteer and cultivated plants of B. napus, B. juncea and B. chinensis were harvested 20, 27, 34, 41 and 48 d after flowering and their seeds were cultured at constant temp. (27+or-0.5 degrees C), room temp. (22+or-0.5 degrees ) and alternating temp. (3/27 degrees ) to investigate their dormancy and germination characteristics.
