Studies on the outdoor feeding during winter season of Korean Native reproductive cattle. 3. Effects of wintering sites and nutritional levels on the live-weight gains and reproductive performances of growing heifers during winter season

Korean Journal of Animal Sciences 30(10): 600-608

Thirty-six growing Korean Native heifers were kept at 3 different wintering sites (housed, outside and woodland) and planes of nutrition (100, 125 and 150% of NRC recommendation) for 120 days from December 1984 to April 1985 in Alpine Experiment Station, Daegwallyoung, Korea. The liveweight of the housed group was slightly higher than the others but differences were not significant.
