Study on the isoenzyme analysis for classification of Korean native jujube strains (Zizyphus jujuba Miller)

Leaf extracts of native Korean morning- and afternoon-flowering Z. jujuba plants were analysed by PAGE. Glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) (aspartate aminotransferase) banding differed between strains, a band of Rf 0.05 occurring in morning-flowering but not in afternoon-flowering strains. Esterase and peroxidase banding patterns consisted of 2 and 4 groups, respectively.
