Study on the sprinkler irrigation of rice

Results of experiments on the sprinkler irrigation of rice carried out for 3 years in Plovdiv and Ivailo, Bulgaria, are presented. The sprinkler system used achieved a 67% saving in water applied, for the cost of a 10% drop in yields.
