Substantial increase in overall sales of oils on the home market in 1987

Sales of olive oil on the Spanish domestic market in 1987 are reviewed from the perspective of market behaviour and the analysis of the activities of leading companies in the sector. Current per capita consumption of all types of oils stands at 17 l, adding up to a total of 671 Ml, which does not include oil consumed in other products such as mayonnaise, pre-cooked meals, canned fish, etc. Olive oil sales increased by 11.37% from 1986 to stand at 327.1 Ml in 1987.
