3-Oxo-3,4-dihydro-2H-1,4-benzoxazine-6-sulfonylhydrazones and 6-sulfonylbiguanidine hydrochlorides were synthesized and their antimicrobial activity tested in vitro against bacteria and fungi, including Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Microsporum gypseum, Epidermophyton floccosum and Histoplasma capsulatum.
