Synthesis of 15N-labelled microbial biomass in soil in situ and extraction of biomass N

, : Synthesis of 15N-labelled microbial biomass in soil in situ and extraction of biomass N. Biology and Fertility of Soils 7(2): 180-185

A Pakistani soil (Hafizabad silt loam) was incubated at 30 degrees C with varying levels of 15N-labelled ammonium sulfate and glucose (C/N ratio of 30 at each addition rate) in order to generate different in situ levels of 15N-labelled microbial biomass.
