Liebigs Annalen der Chemie (2): 167-174
Synthesis of lactone components of the pheromone of Anastrepha suspensa, suspensolide, and the enantiomers of anastrephin and epianastrephin
The synthesis of suspensolide; (+)- and (-)-anastrephin; and (+)- and (-)-epianastrephin (which are components of the male sex pheromone of the tephritid fruit pest Anastrepha suspensa) from geraniol is described.
