Systematics and identification of plant parasitic nematode genera
The definitions of systematics, identification and genera are discussed and the difference between key characters and taxonomic characters underlined. It is proposed that all characters describing plant parasitic nematodes must be re-evaluated at suprageneric and generic levels.
