The black cutworm, Agrotis ipsilon Hufn. (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae), a pest of field, market-garden and small fruit crops. II. Trapping adults with the aid of light-traps

Revue Suisse d' Agriculture 21(3): 159-168

Observations with light-traps in the plains and mountains of French-speaking Switzerland in 1966-87 revealed 3 flight periods for Agrotis ipsilon. A flight period in April-May appeared to correspond to a 1st migration, one in June-July to a 2nd migration, and one from August to the end of the season to a return migration.
