Zeddies compares GFR production structure, producer and input prices, average yields, gross margins for main crops, average profits and income tax in the GFR, France, the UK, Belgium, Netherlands and Denmark and makes some projections as to the likely situation in 1993. The GFR is particularly disadvantaged in its farm structure and its fixed costs for machinery and equipment are higher than those of competitors.
