, : The prevalence of endoparasites of deer in midland Taiwan. Journal of the Chinese Society of Veterinary Science, 131: 57-65

39.6% of faecal samples from deer from Taiwan were infected with endoparasites. Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Strongyloides papillosus and Oesophagostomum were the most common gastrointestinal nematodes found; 4 other species of nematode, 2 of trematode, 1 of cestode and 1 of protozoa were also found. Blood protozoa were seen in none, and microfilariae in 1 of 68 samples.
