The problem of measuring intensity of material expenses in agricultural production

USSR statistics on expenditure on farm materials and on intensity of material use are unsatisfactory. Attention is drawn to two sources of error. Firstly, self produced inputs are valued twice, which gives rise to a clear over-estimation of actual inputs of materials in Ukrainian kolhozy.
