The quantitive regulation of protein synthesis and accumulation during vernalization of wheat

The composition and amount of prevalent polypeptides in seedlings of wheat cultivars/lines differing in vernalization degree were studied. The total proteins were separated by SDS-PAGE. About 40 protein components were detected in each sample. Mobility and relative content of each component were determined following densitometry.
