The recharge-discharge function of wetlands near Juneau, Alaska: Part II. Geochemical investigations



Ground Water 26(5): 580-586



The recharge-discharge function of bogs, fens and forested wetlands in Alaska was investigated by comparing solute concentrations and measuring specific conductance in wetland surface- and groundwater. Average concentrations of major metals define major wetland types.
