The storage and treatment of animal waste

Genio Rurale 51(10): 59-79

Aerobic, anaerobic and electrolytic systems for separating solids and liquids in animal slurry are discussed, with data on max. capacity/h, max. DM content and energy requirements. The systems use static, rotating and vibrating screens, rotating discs, a rotary press and the Lisep centrifugal separator.
