The characteristics and chemical composition of molasses, concentrated and fermented maize solubles, fish solubles, lignosulphates, distillery residues, condensed milk whey, grape juice concentrate and animal protein lysates are reviewed and technological aspects of their use in pig feeding in Italy are discussed.
