Use of multivariate analysis of biochemical characters to investigate the relationship between species of the genus Malus (Rosaceae)

Botanicheskii Zhurnal 75(2): 145-158

A total of 48 accessions representing 13 species in 5 sections were investigated for 24 traits related to the chemical composition of the fruit (flavonols, phenolcarbonic acids, flavanes, flavones and chalcones). The data were subjected to principal component analysis.
