Use of oxalic acid industry waste as a source of sulphur and its effect on availability of rock phosphate

The possibility of using waste material as a source of sulfur, and its effects on the availability of added rock phosphate was investigated. Pot experiments using maize and soyabeans grown in a soil low in available S and P were carried out. Dry matter yield of the maize and soyabean increased with increasing levels of added waste materials. Uptake of S, P, K, Ca and Mg also increased as waste levels increased.
