Use of rodenticides concealed in bait stations to control vole damage in plantations

Using pellets containing chlorphacinone, flour plates treated with 2% zinc phosphide and sunflower seeds treated with 3.75% zinc phosphide, trials were carried out in W. Germany to compare the effectiveness against Microtus agrestis and Clethrionomys glareolus of scattering openly-presented baits widely throughout the plantation and presenting baits in 12 bait stations/ha.
